Outline of a usual meditation class
-
Everyone gets a warm drink and then gets into a comfortable position.
Most people sit on chairs, a few may lie down, one or two sit cross-legged on the floor.

We then sit quietly, allowing the mind to settle and the body to relax.
This is our first meditation practice.

Sarah teaches us something more about meditation.

We then try and put this into practice.
This is our second meditation practice.

Group discussion on how we got on.

Break for lunch.

Some more teaching and discussion.

We practice again all we have been taught.
This is our final meditation practice.
The length of meditation practice varies between 10 and 20 minutes.
