S&DPL SINGLES LEAGUE 2010

The Idea:
To have a singles competition, open to all registered players in the Stockport & District Pool League (both rules), in league format.

The Details:
We will form, depending on number of entrants, a min. of 2 leagues – we are hoping for more. Players will play all other players in their league. The qualifying players from these leagues (again, dependant on entrants) will go forward to the finals day (last 16) where they will be seeded by their finishing positions.

Format:
This competition will be run according to World Rules and each match will be 11 frames. All matches will be played at The Winds, each fixture will be given 1 week to be played.

Entry Fee:
£20.00 per player.

Prize Money:
We are looking to get 40 entrants (although more can be accommodated) – with this the prize fund will be £1860 = £1000 Winner, £300 Runner Up, £100 Losing Semi, £50 Losing Quarters, £20 Losing Last 16.

(Yes, you did read it correct - £1000 for the Winner in cold hard cash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
